- 1. Widow Pension Scheme
Pension scheme is implemented by the Uttar Pradesh government to provide assistance to destitute women after the death of husband. Under the scheme, all eligible women are benefitted, an amount of Rs 1000/- per month to each beneficiary. New beneficiary can apply on website

Standards prescribed for application :
The following criteria are prescribed for the application :—
. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
. The husband of the applicant has died.
. The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years.
. The annual income limit of the applicant and his family should not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh per annum from all sources.
. The applicant is not getting pension from any other scheme of the State or Central Government.
Deadline for disposal of application form:
1- For Inquiry—45 Days
2- Block Development Officer/Deputy District Magistrate/City Magistrate—15 days
3- District Monitoring and Approval Committee-01 month
4- For sending money from NIC to PFMS - 01 month
It is mandatory to take the decision within the above stipulated time period, otherwise the application form is It will be automatically forwarded/accepted after the expiry of the time limit.
- 2. Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana
Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana
To establish equal sex ratio in the state and prevent female feticide, to strengthen the health and education of the girl child, Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana was announced by the Chief Minister in March 2019 to provide financial assistance to the girl's family and to develop a positive attitude among the general public towards the girl child. This scheme has been implemented from 01 April 2019, a web portal (mksy.up.gov.in) has been developed for the operation of the scheme. The amount payable under Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana is transferred to the bank account through PFMS.
Eligibility
1- The beneficiary's family should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh and he should have a permanent residence certificate, in which Ration card / Aadhar card / Voter ID card / Electricity card / Voter ID card / Electricity / Telephone bill will be valid.
2- The family annual income of the beneficiary should be maximum Rs. 3.00 lakh.
3- Only two girls of a family will be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
4- There should be maximum two children in the beneficiary's family.
5- If a woman has twins in the second delivery, the benefit will also be allowed to the girl as the third child. If a woman is a girl child from the first delivery and there are only two twin girls from the second delivery, then only in such a situation the benefit will be allowed to all the three girls.
6- If a family has adopted an orphan girl, then a maximum of two girls including biological children and legally adopted children of the family will be the beneficiary of this scheme.
Categories Of Benefits
1. On the birth of a girl child Rs.2000/- a lump sum.
2. After complete vaccination of the girl child up to one year- Rs 1000/- in one lump sum.
3. After the girl's admission in class I- Rs.2000/- one time lump sum.
4. After the girl's admission in class six- Rs.2000/- a lump sum.
5. After the girl's admission in class nine- Rs.3000/- in one lump sum.
6. A girl child who has taken admission in graduation or diploma course of 02 years or more duration after passing class 12th - Rs.5000/- in one lump sum.
- 3. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao
Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana
Objective of the scheme -
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana (BBBP) is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, whose main objective is to reduce the falling child sex ratio (CSR) in India, as well as related to the education, all-round development and empowerment of women. Issues have to be resolved as well. A major part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme is the activities related to public awareness and publicity.
Operation of the plan-
. Operated in 71 districts approved by the Government of India
. In 68 districts, the scheme is operated in multi-sectoral intervention mode. , In 03 districts- Balrampur, Sant Kabirnagar and Rampur, this scheme is being operated in media propaganda, advocacy and outreach mode.
. 04 districts (Hapur, Shamli, Amethi, Sambhal) are not covered by the scheme.
Mode of Planning Operation-
. In 68 districts, the scheme is operated in multi-sectoral intervention mode, under which the following activities are organized -
1. Inter-regional consultation meetings of D.T.F.A., B.T.F. and media campaign.
2. Training and Capacity Building/Knowledge Enhancement Programme.
3. To reward girls and schools for promoting girl child education.
4. Innovation and Outreach.
5. Distribution of IEC materials/kits to Anganwadi centres.
All the above activities are conducted at the district level through District Magistrate and District Probation Officer. For operation by the center, 100 percent money is transferred directly to the joint account of the District Magistrate and the District Probation Officer.
. In 03 districts, this scheme is operated in alert media advocacy and outreach mode, in which the activities related to propaganda are directly conducted by the center.
Activities of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme-
. Through orientation and sensitization programs, to make district and block level officers / personnel and general public aware of various topics related to women such as girl's birth anniversary program, oath-taking program and heroine of one day.
. To train the personnel working in the field on various components of the scheme through training and capacity building activities.
. Giving an information about the scheme through publicity activities and meetings in the public community through community awareness programs such as meeting with ASHA ANM, community women and self-help groups.
.Promotion through social media like Selfie with Doctor, Haq Ki Baat, Bulk Messaging.
. Bringing awareness about the scheme through selecting the champions at the local level, such as making one-to-one contact with the local champions and women of the community.
- 4. Uttar Pradesh Rani Laxmi Bai Mahila Evam Bal Samman Kosh
Uttar Pradesh Rani Laxmi Bai Women and Children Samman Kosh
Under the Rani Laxmibai Mahila Samman Kosh Rules, 2015, the funds will be used for the victims of heinous violence, who have ensured immediate economic and medical relief, maintenance, education and health of the victims, along with revival, if the circumstances so require, such victims. There is also a provision to be made for the maintenance and education of the minor children of the state, financial compensation and other reliefs will be available in such instances.
- 5. 181 Women Helpline
181 Women Helpline
According to the guidelines of the Government of India, under the Universalization of Women Helpline Scheme, 181 women helpline call centers are being operated in the state from March 08, 2016, for which the objectives of the said scheme are as follows:-
. To provide 24 hours toll free telephone service to the women victims of violence seeking help and information.
. Facilitate emergency interventions through referral to appropriate agencies such as Police/Hospital/Ambulance Services/District Legal Services Authority/Protection Officer/One Stop Centre.
. To provide information about the assistance, services, government schemes and programs available to women victims of violence according to their specific circumstances and in their local area of residence or employment.
According to the decision taken at the competent level to make the process of operation of 181 Women Helpline simple and strong, 181 Women Helpline Call Centers are being operated by integrating with 112 UP Kendras. 300 PRVs of 112-U.P. in which 02 women police personnel are deployed, are being used to provide rescue vans 24x7 in each district for emergency response on calls to 181 women helpline.
- 6. One Stop Center
One Stop Center
Government of India funded One Stop Center was started in 2016-17. The objective of the scheme is to provide all the necessary services to the victims of violence like short stay (05 days), medical aid, counseling services, legal aid etc. under one roof. At present, one stop center is being operated in all the districts of the state. Center Manager/Administrator-1 for administrative work in each one stop center for providing essential services to women victims of violence, Psychological Counselor-1 for providing counseling services to the victim, Paramedical Nurse-3 for medical services, for office Arrangements have been made for Computer Operator-Sahlipik-1 and Case Worker-02. Apart from this, emergency response and rescue services are provided by contacting police department dial 112, health department dial 108, 102 and first information report or complaint of the victim is lodged by contacting the police department. Assistance is provided through the empaneled advocates of the Legal Services Authority to get justice to the aggrieved woman. One stop center is being operated in all 75 districts of the state.Mahila Shakti Kendra Scheme.

Part Of The Plan
District Level Mahila Shakti Kendra (DLCW), There is a provision for the formation of District Level Mahila Shakti Kendra in each covered district, in which 3 personnel (01 Women Welfare Officer and District Coordinator) are selected through a committee constituted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.
. At present, under the Mahila Shakti Kendra scheme, at the district level, personnel have been selected under DLCW in 69 districts.
. In 02 districts (Mathura, Kannauj), the selection of personnel of Mahila Shakti Kendra scheme is under process. To bring awareness on social, an economic issues among rural women and to link them with various schemes of the government.
- 8. Old Age Home for Women
At present, two old women's ashrams of 100 capacity are being operated by the Uttar Pradesh Women's Welfare Corporation through voluntary organizations in Ayodhya and Mirzapur districts.
- 9. Government Women Shelter / Protection Home

Under the Women's Welfare Department, for the security and protection of women, state women's shelter / protection is being operated in the state, in which the victims of the Indian Penal Code, women victims under the Protection of Domestic Violence Act, 2005, to be presented for the desired evidence, There is a provision to keep the needy and needy women who are suffering from moral crisis astray. There is a provision of free health, education, clothing, bed maintenance, skill development training etc. to the women residing in shelters/protection homes. At present it is operating in 12 districts of the state viz. Agra, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Etawah, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Moradabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Bareilly and Kanpur city, out of which there is a State Protection Home in Agra and a mentally retarded cell in Bareilly. Also being operated, the total capacity of these houses is 725 residents.
- 10. Swadhar Yojana

Under the Swadhar scheme, such women who are without shelter and socially and economically, former women prisoners suffering from divine calamity, victims of domestic violence and such women removed from the family, who have no means of living and income source, should be kept in Swadhar Greh. There is a system to go where free food, clothes, bedding, vocational training, medical facilities and legal aid are provided to them and if they have children with them, at present, a total of 14 Swadhars are being conducted in 11 districts of the state.
- 11. Ujjwala Yojana

Under the Ujjwala scheme, the women and girls who have been forcibly attached to this profession, there is a provision to keep them in the institution by the competent authority or institution in collaboration with the local police administration, where they and if they have children with them, Fees, food, clothing, bedding, vocational training, medical facilities and legal aid are provided. It is being operated in 02 districts of the state.

- 12. Sehme for Promoting Widow Remarriage (Under age of 35 Yrs)
Under the scheme to reward the couple on remarriage with a destitute woman after the death of the husband, the scheme is operated to reward the couple on remarriage with destitute women whose husband has died, provided that she is not an income tax payer. The couple has to submit the application to the District Probation Officer's office to get the grant within one year from the marriage and after the approval of the District Magistrate, the couple is given a reward of Rs. 11000/-.
- 13. Grant aid to the Marriage of Widows Daughters
A lump sum financial assistance of Rs.10,000/- is provided for the marriage of daughters of destitute women receiving pension after the death of the husband.
- 14. Financial assistance scheme to Women Victims of Dowry
Dowry victim living below the poverty line, who is not getting help from any other department, has lodged an FIR of harassment in the police station or whose case is pending in the court, District Probation Officer, who is also named District Dowry Prohibition Officer You can get help from the office. After the approval of the District Magistrate on the application form, financial assistance of Rs.125/- per month is provided to the eligible women.

Such abandoned women suffering from dowry, who are not getting help from other departments, do not have any source of their maintenance and are living below the poverty line, the District Probation Officer, who is also named District Prohibition Officer Application form has to be given for assistance in the office and after the approval of the District Magistrate, such harassed woman is provided a free assistance of Rs.2500/- for the prosecution of the case.

In order to provide residential facilities to working women and their children, 10 working women's hostels constructed with the help of Government of India are being operated in the state.

Krishna Kutir Ashray Sadan of 1000 beds capacity for destitute women in Vrindavan Mathura is being operated in collaboration with Government of India and State Government, where destitute women are provided free food, clothing and residential facilities.
