UP Chief Minister Child Service Scheme
In order to provide financial assistance to the children orphaned due to Covid-19 epidemic in the state for their maintenance, education, medical etc., 'U.P. Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana' is being started in Uttar Pradesh.
Children between the age of 0 to 18 years whose mother or father or both have died due to infection of Covid-19. Such children will be given Rs-4000/- per month. Such children who have become completely orphaned and by the order of the Child Welfare Committee will be made to be residing in the child care institutions run under the department.
Admission will be made in Atal Residential Schools and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools for free education up to 12 years for the children of the age group of 11 to 18 years.
The state government will provide an amount of Rs. 101000/- (one lakh one thousand) for marriage of the above types of girls if they are eligible for marriage.
The facility of table lamp will be provided to the children falling under the above category in class-9 or above or up to 18 years of age who are pursuing vocational education.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana (General) is being started in Uttar Pradesh with the objective of providing financial support for the arrangements for the maintenance, education, medical etc. of the children who were orphaned due to reasons other than Covid-19.
Children below the age of 18 years who have lost their parents or one of their parents or guardians for reasons other than COVID-19 or children in the age group of 0 to 18 years who have committed child labour/child Freed from begging / child prostitution and adjusted in the family / family environment or children of families involved in begging / prostitution. Such children will be given Rs.-2500/- per month.
Adolescents of 18 to 23 years of age who have died due to covid or other reasons, either of their parents or legal guardians, should be eligible to obtain a bachelor's degree or diploma after completing their education up to class 12th. Students will be benefited under this scheme till they complete 23 years of age or graduate education or obtain diploma from recognized technical institute, whichever is earlier.
